Mr. Louis C. Cole III served as Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Legato Systems Inc. from July 1989 to May 2001. During this 11-year period, he saw the company through its initial public offering, and grew annual revenue to $251 million. Prior to joining Legato, Mr. Cole was a founder of Combinet Inc. Mr. Cole served as an Executive Vice President of Novell Inc., with responsibility for all operations divisions from March 1987 to July 1988. Mr. Cole was President of CXI Inc. Mr. Cole served for five years at National Advanced Systems as Vice President of Corporate Services and eight years at Fairchild Camera and Instrument in a variety of information services management positions.
Mark Diamond is founder, President & CEO of Contoural, Inc. Previously, he was co-founder of Symantec's (Open Vision) Professional Services group; founder and General Manager, Worldwide Professional Services for Legato Systems and Vice President of Worldwide Professional Services at Right Works, a provider of business application software to the B2B marketplace. Mr. Diamond served as Chair of the Storage Networking Industry Association customer advisory board on data security. Mark sits on the board of advisors for several high technology companies
Kevin Laughlin is Chief Financial Officer at Zetta.net. Previously he was the CFO at Sensa Partners, where he transitioned Sensa to an independent operating subsidiary of its parent company, Intelligent Beauty. Prior to his position at Sensa, Kevin was a Venture Partner at Technology Crossover Ventures and held CFO positions with IT services company All Covered and management software company International Network Services. Mr. Laughlin also served as corporate controller at Electronics for Imaging, Inc.
Donn Parker, CISSP. Mr. Parker brings over 60 years of information security experience to Contoural’s board of advisors. Formerly with SRI, Atomic Tangerine and RedSiren Technologies, Mr. Parker was a senior information systems management consultant and researcher on information and computer security and crime. His ongoing business is serves the confidential security interests of large international clients. He is a well-known international lecturer and writer. Mr. Parker received the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) 1992 Individual Outstanding Achievement Award, the 1994 National Computer Systems Security Award from the US NIST and NSA, the Aerospace Computer Security associates 1994 Distinguished Lecturer Award, and the MIS Training Institute Infosecurity News 1996 Lifetime Achievement Award. He received the ISSA Hall of Fame award and was chosen as one of five pioneers and profiled in Information Security Magazine in 1999. He was made a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and was inducted into the SRI International Hall of Fame in 2002. Mr. Parker was made a Distinguished Fellow of the ISSA in 2010.
Mr. Smith was most recently the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations for Wily Technology, a division of Computer Associates. Previously he served as Chief Operating Officer at Legato systems where he was responsible for the company's worldwide sales, marketing, support, development and product management departments. Mr. Smith also brings 19 years of experience from IBM where he served in the sales organization of the Data Processing and National Accounts Division culminating with his role as San Francisco regional manager. Additionally, Kent served as General Manager, IBM China where he was responsible for all IBM operations in China.
