Mark Diamond
Founder, President & CEO


Mark Diamond is recognized as an industry thought leader in proactive records and information management, litigation readiness and risk & compliance strategies.  Under his leadership, Contoural has grown to be the largest independent provider of legal and regulatory, litigation readiness, and risk & compliance consulting services. As trusted advisors, he and his company help bridge legal, compliance, security and business needs and policies with effective processes, technology and change management.

 

Previously, he was co-founder of Symantec's (Open Vision) Professional Services group; founder and General Manager, Worldwide Professional Services for Legato Systems and Vice President of Worldwide Professional Services at Right Works, a provider of business application software to the B2B marketplace.

Mr. Diamond served as Chair of the Storage Networking Industry Association customer advisory board on data security.  Mark sits on the board of advisors for several high technology companies.

 

Mark is an online columnist for Inside Counsel Magazine, as well as an author of numerous white papers for both the legal and IT communities. He is a regular speaker at the Association for Corporate Counsel Annual Meeting and at numerous legal and IT industry conferences. Additionally, Mark addresses more than one hundred internal corporate audiences each year.

 

Mr. Diamond holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego.  He is former the President of the UC San Diego Alumni Association, and is currently a Trustee of the university's foundation.

Greg Forest
Chief Technical Officer


Greg Forest has 30 years of experience in storage, application software, management, support, and implementation of technical solutions for information governance, data management and regulatory compliance.  As Contoural’s CTO, he has developed methodologies to make information governance solution deployment predictable and cost effective, and has worked with Contoural clients to help them select, configure, test, implement, and train new solutions to reduce cost and risk while improving employee productivity.

 

Previously, Mr. Forest was the Director of IT and acting CIO for Legato Systems, where he was responsible for governance, budgeting, operations, and strategic vision.  Prior to joining IT, he was Legato’s Senior Product Manager responsible for the technical integration of products into storage solutions from Sun Microsystems, DEC, and Compaq.  Greg began his career as a computer programmer, support manager, and developer’s program manager for X86 based UNIX and distributed system Java computing at the Santa Cruz Operation (SCO).

Tom Mighell
Vice President of Service Delivery


Tom Mighell is Vice President of Service Delivery for Contoural. With more than 20 years of experience in compliance, litigation, privacy and information governance, Tom regularly works with corporations to develop information governance programs, including the creation and validation of records retention schedules.  Tom served as Chair of ABA TECHSHOW 2008, and as 2011-2012 Chair of the ABA's Law Practice Division.

Kathryn Hilton
Vice President of Consulting


Kathryn Hilton has more than 20 years experience in records and information management, strategy consulting, and data storage technology. As a Contoural consultant and practice manager, Kathryn has developed methodologies for Records and Information Management organization design and for Change Management strategy, process, and content.  Kathryn assists clients with the globalization of their programs, and has visited client sites around the world for a detailed understanding of business and legal information management requirements.

 

Previously Kathryn was a data storage market analyst at Gartner, and managed strategic planning for a data storage technology company. She has also held marketing management positions at Exabyte, Maxtor and BA&T.

 

Kathryn holds a BA in Economics and Art History from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Judy Gum
Chief Financial Officer


Judy Gum is a finance professional with more than 24 years of experience in operations, planning and management. Judy has worked in various financial positions in hardware, software and service provider firms including Unisys, Tandem, Compaq, Synopsys, Macromedia, Embrace Networks and Corio.

 

Ms. Gum completed her MBA at Santa Clara University.
