CCPA 101 Series - CCPA and State Privacy Overview and Updates

CCPA and State Privacy Overview and Updates

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) will go into effect on January 1, 2020, providing a relatively short window for companies to prepare. As many other states are looking at this legislation as a model for their own law, this law’s impact could be felt well beyond California. In this webinar, we’ll discuss the CCPA, its general requirements and what other states may be considering in terms of privacy legislation. We’ll also cover updates to the CCPA that have been released or are expected to be released since the bill became law.
