LOS ALTOS, CA (September 15, 2005) - Contoural, Inc., an independent
provider of business and technology consulting services, announced that three
Contoural executives will be presenting at TechTarget’s Storage Decisions conference this
month in New York City.
Mark Diamond, CEO of Contoural, will deliver a presentation on September
30 titled “Long-term Archiving: What To Do When You Have To Save
Data for a Long Time.” Compliance and other business drivers are forcing companies
to save data for much longer periods, and to ensure that the data can be located and retrieved
very quickly. “The total amount of data that needs to be archived can be staggering,”
says Mr. Diamond. His presentation will focus on the business drivers and best practices
for long-term archiving, and the impact of archiving choices on service levels, risks and costs.
Contoural vice presidents Greg Forest and Mike Casey will present
a two-part “Tiered Storage School” on September 29 at the Storage
Decisions conference. These two one-hour sessions will provide a conceptual framework for data classification,
and practical tips for tiered-storage architecture development and implementation.
